This page has changed its name from to blå because in January 2014 I opened my own yoga studio in the heart of Copenhagen! I have now taught adults and children for more than 10 years and thousands of hours, and it was time to gather Children's Yoga, classes and courses for adults, workshops, and webshop under the same roof.

I have been doing yoga for 15 years and it is pretty much the guiding thread in my life. My source of joy and energy when the sky is blue, and my steady rock and anchor when the storm gushes. My approach to teaching yoga is to be on the same level as the students and communicate yoga so that anyone can understand it. Everyone should have a warm and good experience, a calm mind, and a happier, stronger body when leaving from a class.

I have taken numerous courses and classes myself over the years, including: Hatha Yoga with Claus Hagen 2004-5; Vinyasa Yoga at the Yoga Arts Teacher Training 2007; Anusara Immersion 1-3 with Desiree Rumbaugh, Jordan Bloom, and Neesha Zollinger 2009-10; Lille Yogahus Children's Yoga Teacher Training 2012-2013; Yoga Therapeutics; Mindfulness for children; Mindfulness training ;, Yoga Philosophy Course; The Psychology of Yoga; Dynamic Yoga; Aerial yoga; and many more.

I have also written the book " YOGA – et kvarter om dagen for en glad krop og et stærkt sind” ("Yoga - Fifteen Minutes a Day for a Happy Body and a Strong Mind," Gyldendal 2013), and made the DVD "Børne Yoga og de fem sanser" ("Children's Yoga and the Five Senses," SisseYoga 2011).

Most of all, Yoga is a way to move the body. I have read somewhere: "move your body and your heart will follow"

As life progresses, it becomes clearer and clearer to me that it is a good idea to invite the  divine into your everyday life. I think it's such an incredible luck that you can (just) move your body and thereby attract all the good, the lucky coincidences and just being able to breathe freely. This is what yoga is to me. And that you can discover something new every day. It is a collaboration with nature!

I have been teaching for almost 10 years and graduated at Hamsa Yoga Studio. Additionally, I participated in a lot of courses, amongst others within Anusara, especially with Ross Rayburn.

Yoga is my passion and I love to share it with others. I have been practicing yoga for about 11 years now, both Astanga, Hatha og Yin. Through the years I have enjoyed being taught my many fantastic danish and international teachers, which have given me so much I can pass on to my students in my classes.

Besides my own practice and a number of workshops I have certified as a yoga teacher in 2013 from Samahita Centered Yoga and I am currently taking another teacher training at Sattva Yoga. My background as psychologist has given me many years of mediation, teaching and dialogue with people in many different situations. I teach Yin Yoga and Soft Hatha as well as more challenging sequences with focus and strength and flow. I often focus on the breath and my classes always have a positive and casual vibe. Yoga to me is joy in body and mind and a special form of being present arises when we experience and share it together.

I teach Hatha Yoga at Fitness DK, at YogaLiving, workplaces and give workshops regularly. I am a trained teen yoga teacher (Lille Yogahus) and currently completing my 250 hrs Hatha yoga teacher training with Louise Fjendbo.

For me yoga is a way to be 'in life'. The sense of freedom, strength and agility of body and mind that yoga helps to create, make life an even more beautiful place to be!

In my yoga classes, there is space for everything and a casual atmosphere. My classes are characterized by a playful and investigative approach to yoga, and there is a lot of warmth, presence and smiles.

Constanza Julio del Rio

I have been teaching aerial skills (silk, static trapeze) since I was 22 year old. I am a certified Yoga Teacher, Aerial Fitness Instructor and Antigravity Fitness Instructor, trainings that I have carried out in the UK, Ireland and Chile. I develop my classes with high energy and a fun factor, focusing on rythm, with good beats to match the feeling of every transition. I have a dance background, so I love the connection between music and movement.
A big principle in my classes is the inclusive approach. I focus on both the group and students individually, to make sure every student feels comfortable in class and enjoy the experience.
Teaching Aerial Yoga for me is to share and transmit my motivation and knowledge with the students. You can expect in my classes to use your core and stretch your thoughts…

My approach to yoga is generous and relaxed, so beginners as well as experienced can participate in my classes, that have thorough instructions guiding both movements and breathing.

Basically, my yoga teaching is characterized by many strong exercises and active stretches, so when you participate in my class, you will likely work up a sweat in spite of the quiet pace. At the end I always use restorative poses so that both body and mind have a chance to de-stress.

I graduated as a Hatha-Yoga teacher at Louise Fjendbo´s Yogaliving and have also taken several courses withJordan Bloom, who is also one of my main sources of inspiration. Alongside my job as a yoga teacher I study anatomy, physiology and pathology - to immerse myself further into the wisdom of body and health, which is my passion.

Ursi Koller (vikar)

I am originally from Austria and have lived in Denmark since 2012. After having practiced hot yoga for 6 years, I discovered the spiritual side of yoga and went deeper in my practice - both physically and spiritually.

I found my teachers Christian Meyer, Chris Chavez, and Byron Katie and took a yoga teacher-training with Chris Chavez in Istanbul in 2012. I teach in a fun and challenging way with a focus on therapeutic yoga. I seek to bring body and mind together on the mat and try to immerse my understanding of yoga on both the physical and spiritual level. I teach in English and Danish.

Ditte Parby (Workshops)

Teaching yoga to me is equal to mindfulness, togetherness and letting go of yourself. To teach yoga and experience and enjoy it together with my students makes sense to me. This is where I feel that I am alive! In the past 20 years I have worked in the fields of teaching and counselling in the area of health and movement. To teach yoga has in the meantime become my greatest passion and yoga to me is about balance, consciousness and flexibility in the mind as well as the body. With a warm heart and a constantly positive attitude towards life I make it my goal to inspire both beginners and experienced yogis. My teaching is universal and down to earth and I always strive to design my classes in a way that everyone feels secure and welcome. I teach Hatha, Hatha flow, Vinyasa flow and restorativ yoga.

Trine Mee Sook (Workshops)

I fell in love with yoga almost 14 years ago. Back then I was a student at the danish academy of arts and we were blessed to have yoga every tuesday.

As my yoga practice grew stronger it become more and more evident to me how much power lies within yoga - and how that power, if you open up for it, will transform your body and mind.

My classes are often a bit nerdy. I like to take time in and in between the various asanas to feel all the fantastic things that happen in body and mind.

I graduated from Hamsa Yoga Studio (200 hrs) and teach Hatha Yoga, Yin yoga, soft hatha and beginners classes.

I take new courses and tranings constantly and also offer Yin massage

Sisse Jensen Dall (Workshops)

I have always loved being physically active and have always trained one thing or another, for as long as I can remember. When I met Yoga (about the same time when the world got introduced to the Spice Girls), I discovered that the amazing aspects of yoga don't only create balance and well-being physically, but also on a much deeper level which is far beyond the physical. For six years I have been employed in the danish army and have used Yoga to handle the pressure in war zones such as Iraq and Afghanistan. In 2011, I started teaching soldiers in Helmand and the rest is history, as you say. Today I am a fulltime yogateacher for athletes and teach, amongst others, the danish football team FCK.

Maria Ejegod (Workshops)

Julie Vogelsberger (sub)

Yoga, to me, is a way to get in touch with my body, breath and "inner me". I also use it as a tool to get a higher consciousness of my body, get aware of your (movements)patters and tendencies, both on and off the yogamat.

In my yoga classes you will get a deeper knowledge og your movement patters. Some serve you well and others might be less beneficial for your body. We will work with and against these patters and by that you will become aware of how much potential you have to get more energy and serenity in body and mind. This will give you a feeling of greater freedom. Loving yourself, exactly the way you are is the basis of my yoga classes.

I teach Hatha and Vinyasa and all levels are welcome. I usually teach in english but will integrate danish into the class if necessary.

Evi Xiromeriti (workshops)

I am a certified yoga instructor in Vinyasa yoga (LagoCph, Denmark), Hatha Yoga (Yoga Vidya, India) Yin Yoga (Sattva, Immersion) and Pregnancy Yoga and Yoga Therapy for women (with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli). Since 2011, I have taught at various yoga centers and firms, as well as workshops and retreats in Denmark and Greece.

My teaching is at a steady pace with thorough instruction, where you will be able to look inwards and immerse yourself in the yoga universe.

My purpose when I teach is to create space for each student, so you can have your own individual experience of what yoga is and can be.

Amelie Wahl (maternity leave)

"Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self."
For me, yoga is about finding the best version of yourself. Also it is about balance. Balance between strength and softness, holding on and letting go, challenging yourself and respecting your boundaries.

My classes always contain inspiring and challenging elements as well as a good physical alignment. And when body and mind are in balance there will be more energy for yourself and others, for life and everyday tasks, for enjoying and digging deeper.

There are no expectations towards the student other than showing up on the mat. With time the rest will come by itself

I graduated from LagoCph in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. On top of that I work in administration for Blå himmel YOGA.
