Post-natal yoga and relaxation gives you energy to enjoy spending time with your baby, and gentle, efficient training to strengthen and relax your body. The main focus is strengthening the core muscles, pelvic floor and lower back, and releasing tension in shoulders and neck. When it suits the babies, they become part of the yoga, and you practice holding and carrying in the most comfortable way, as well as stimulate baby's motor development through play. Each class ends with a guided relaxation.
You can start as early as two weeks after birth and we suggest starting before baby is three months old. As long as baby isn't crawling yet, you can join, and of course you can still do post-natal yoga if you have any extra challenges after birth. The groups are small to make sure you get the attention you need at the stage of recovery you are at.
