You enter Blå himmel YOGA through Blå Engel Cafe (see opening hours at the very bottom of our website). Outside the cafe’s opening hours,  the studio opens 15 minutes before the class starts.

It’s a good idea to book your yoga class before you come, but you can also just show up and tell the teacher.

You can bring your own yoga mat, but we also have yoga mats, blankets and equipment that you may use free of charge.

The best clothes are loose and soft training clothes and bare feet. Shorts are not so suitable. You are welcome to change at home – our locker room is small ?

Preferably you should not eat a huge meal right before yoga.

Always take off your shoes before you enter the room.

FAQ (frequently asked questions)

Do I need to bring my own mat?
You are welcome to bring your own mat, but you can also use the mats at the studio free of charge.

I have never tried yoga before – how do I start? 
We have beginner classes and all of our Hatha classes are in a pace where everyone can join. Look for the blue classes in the schedule. If you are comfortable in your body and move regularly, just try the different classes and see what fits you best. All classes are suitable for beginners and if you find a certain pose too difficult, then take a break and just observe ?

I am not flexible at all. Can I still do yoga?
Yes, definitely! Yoga will help you to get flexible and strong in no time. And it is not about how much you can or cannot do, but how you feel doing what you can.

I am very stressed – how do I start?
Yin yoga and Hatha yoga are the two styles that are slowest and focus most on relaxation. But it all depends on what type of person you are. Maybe you will feel more relaxed after a class with a lot of flow where you will work and sweat a lot. We are all different, so just try some classes or ask your teacher.

How often should I do yoga?
You can do yoga daily if it fits the condition your body is in. Many people get great results with one class a week. If you want to change your body and really notice the progress, then 2-3 times a week is probably a good idea.

Where do I buy a punchcard (Klippekort)?
In the booking system in the tab called Schedule. You need to create a profile first and then log on and press “Dine indstillinger” (your settings) at the top of the screen. Press “Køb kredit” (buy credit) and choose the option you wish to buy. See this manual: Manual

Is there a free trial class?
For the children’s classes there is a free trial, as these are courses that run over six months, that you commit to. On the adult classes you can buy a trial class for 39 kr. Book your trial class and read much more about it here.

My remaining sessions on my punchcard have been deleted, why?
When you buy a punchcard, there is an expiration date which is a good idea to note down. Buying a punchcard (klippekort) is like committing to a course, e.g.  5 months on a 10-session punchcard. You decide when to take the classes, but after 5 months it expires. And just as if you were enrolled in a regular 5-month yoga course, you will not be able to get a refund for unused punches. Punchcards may, however, be paused due to illness or holiday (once a year, for 1 month) – but we need to be informed BEFORE your punchcard expires. If the punches have been deleted, it’s too late.

I’m having trouble signing in to Schedule or I must log in twice?
You can try one of these two solutions:
1) Change your web browser. For instance, if you’re using Internet Explorer, try Google Chrome, Mozilla, or whatever else you might have on your computer.

2) Clear history and cookies from your browser – For example, on an Iphone: Settings> Safari> Clear history and site data.

I’m having trouble logging in to the webshop or logging in as a member.
The webshop and the booking system are two different systems and your login details are not necessarily the same for both. If it is your first time logging in to the webshop (not Schedule!), you will need to register as a new user or a guest user.

We started using this webshop in November 2018, so it’s only if you have purchased membership, workshops or goods after this date, that you have an existing user profile in the webshop. If that’s the case and if you have previously been logged in to the webshop, click the Lost My Password button to retrieve your login details.

Can I bring a friend and book the class for her/him?
Yes, if you have a punchcard (klippekort) you can bring a friend and both of your sessions will be deducted from your punchcard. It is not possible if you are a member though.
The booking system is no longer able to book twice for one person but you can send an email to and we will book the session for your friend using your punchcard.

When I use the booking system (Schedule) on my phone or tablet, it only displays one day at a time. I would like to see the schedule for the entire week, is that possible?
Yes, at the very bottom of the screen you can click on Show desktop (Vis skrivebord) to get the computer version of the page which displays the schedule for the week.
